BACKROAD TRUCKERS NOMINATED 5 TIMES AT 2021 LEO AWARDS

Vancouver-based Big Time Decent Productions has received 5 Leo Award nominations for its hit unscripted series Backroad Truckers, produced in association with Corus Entertainment and airing on HISTORY.

The series tied for most nominations in the Information Lifestyle or Reality Series category, picking up nods for Direction, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Picture Editing, and Program.

Big Time Decent has previously been nominated at the Leos for its work on Rust Valley Restorers and The Dog Dudes, bringing its total to 12 nominations and 5 wins thus far.

The prodco has been active in both the scripted and unscripted space. Big Time Decent has struck a deal with a Canadian broadcaster to develop Foreign Affairs, a single-camera half-hour comedy that pokes fun at Ottawa’s diplomatic community. More recently, the company inked a deal with social media celebrity, Larry Enticer, to develop a new unscripted series for television.
